It can mean biomorphic and pleasantly soft, as this sofa by the Parisian design team of Pierre BĂ©nard, Augustin Deleuze and Nina Rose proves. Upholstered here in a wool, mohair, alpaca fabric from Pierre Frey called Opio, it can be custom finished in the customer's own fabric. The Bond collection Waterworks Miami Design District Scandesign.com This new collection at Waterworks was created in partnership with Gachot Studios, taking bath fixtures to the next level. Expensive? You bet, but according to John Gochot, completely worth it. "These are investment pieces with longevity and heritage," Says John Gachot, "What- ever the trends are, these will transcend them." Shown here, the Bond Solo series faucet with lever handles in polished nickel. Reverse LED table lamp online only at ylighting.com Designed by Aleksander Lazic for the Danish manufacturer, Menu, this table lamp is about as simple, functional and beautiful as they get. Tiny little thing, measuring just under a foot high with a 9.5" diameter shade, it's perfect for bedside tables or even a desk light. Fitted with a warm (2200 k) LED light source, its base is Italian travertine and its shade is spun aluminum finished in a bronzed brass. There is a discreet, milled aluminum knob at the center of the finial, which, when turned, dims the lamp.
